Empowering Every Mom: Free & Low-Cost Support Services for New Mothers Nationwide

At Life of a Mom, we believe strong families start with strong moms. We also believe that with a healthy mind and body, a mother is in a better position to build her strong family. We celebrate moms at every stage, lending a comforting shoulder to cry on when they are feeling down. Our doulas and volunteer “Mom Mentors” are ready to give advice without judgement and with a desire to elevate each other on this journey we call motherhood.

Doula Support (Prenatal & Post-Delivery Care)

Life of a Mom Inc. offers comprehensive doula support services to expectant and new mothers, ensuring they receive compassionate care during pregnancy and after childbirth. Our trained doulas provide physical, emotional, and educational support tailored to each mother’s needs, helping them prepare for labor and smoothly transition into motherhood. This personalized care promotes a positive birthing experience and strengthens maternal well-being.

Postpartum Depression Counseling

Our organization understands the challenges new mothers face, including postpartum depression. Life of a Mom Inc. offers specialized counseling for mothers experiencing mental health struggles after childbirth, providing them with a safe space to share their experiences and receive support. Our licensed counselors are dedicated to helping mothers regain balance, develop coping strategies, and build resilience, ensuring they feel supported as they adapt to life with a new child.

In-Home Lactation Support

Life of a Mom Inc. provides in-home lactation support to help mothers overcome breastfeeding challenges. Our certified lactation consultants guide new moms with techniques, positioning, and confidence-building to ensure a comfortable breastfeeding journey.
